Web Page: www.cnm-inc.com Email: martinm@teleport.com Speaker Information: Dr. Milner received his N.D. in 1983 from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, located in Portland, OR. He has remained at his alma mater for the past sixteen years as Professor of Cardiology and Pulmonary Medicine. Dr. Milner is also president and medical director of the Center for Natural Medicine (CNM), Inc. Established in 1991, CNM is the first and one of the largest ongoing, integrated healthcare facilities in the Northwest. The Heart and Lung Wellness program is the newest addition in Dr. Milner's professional life, linking his identities as professor and doctor. This exciting new program provides a clinical training ground for 24 fourth year medical students and two resident doctors, supervised by Dr. Milner, to engage in complimentary and alternative health care delivery in the management of cardiovascular and pulmonary disease.
Dr. Milner is well published with texts, medical journal articles and studies in cardiology, pulmonology, oncology, endocrinology, and environmental medicine. Recently released is the article in Alternative and Complementary Therapies (June 2002) entitled "Natto and Its Active Ingredient Nattokinase." Dr. Milner served as the primary consulting physician for Judith Sach's book Natural Medicine for Heart Disease. Also to his credit are "Wilson's Syndrome and T3 therapy - A Clinical Guide to Safe and Effective Patient Management" in the International Journal of Pharmaceutical Compounding Vol. 3 No. 5, Sept/Oct 1999, p. 344-349 and the co-authoring of chapter 14 in An Alternative Medicine Definitive Guide to Cancer by J. Diamond and W.L. Cowden. Dr. Milner is the medical editor of the Health Sciences Institute newsletter, which has over 85,000 subscribers around the world.
Dr. Milner is a dynamic speaker with a master's degree in education. He brings a fresh and enjoyable approach to his lectures using the latest in computerized technology. He has lectured extensively for over 20 years nationally and internationally, to physicians groups and public audiences alike.
