Jane R. Hirschmann, MSW

Here at last is a plan to help you break out of the diet/binge cycle. Authors of the national best-selling book "Overcoming Overeating" Jane Hirschmann and Carol Munter present a live workshop to an audience of 300 people who are at the beginning or are in early stages of this revolutionary program to cure eating problems. This five and a half hour long program was recorded live in San Diego, California. Jane R. Hirschmann and Carol H. Munter are psychotherapists in New York City. They are authors of WHEN WOMEN STOP HATING THEIR BODIES (Fawcett), and OVERCOMING OVEREATING (Fawcett). Carol started the first anti-dieting group in 1970. In 1993, Jane, with Lela Zaphiropoulos, wrote PREVENTING CHILDHOOD EATING PROBLEMS (Gurze Books). Jane and Carol are directors of The National Center for Overcoming Overeating. They teach and lecture widely on their anti-dieting approach to eating problems.
